Help!

**In order to mail correctly, a group must be selected for each client.  All boxes must be filled in as well. **

 

Programs opening screen: When you first open the program, you get this screen. This is the main screen to the program.  From here you can manage your clients. From the contacts menu you can add/remove, find and email clients. You can even email all. On this screen we can select a client on the left, and then edit the details on the right. Once we have done editing, you have to click update for the changes to take effect.

Here we have a screen with someone's details. When you click Contacts, Add, you are asked for the Full Name of the person you wish to add. Once done, you are taken back to this screen. When you have added someone you need to adjust their details (make sure to click update when done!)

If we click Program, then Groups , we can add and remove 'groups' these allow you to group clients - ie all the ones that have brought something, or are looking ect. Just type in the group name into the edit box and click Add Group - or, select a group and click Delete Selected to remove it. We then close that window and on the main screen, we can choose the group from the drop down menu.  In order to mail correctly, a group must be selected for each client.  All boxes must be filled in as well. 

We can search the database for most things, search all records based on name, email, group ect. Clicking in the results box will bring up their details on the main form.

One of the main functions to the program is being able to email out the clients.  All you need to do is fill in the Subject field, write up your message and tick the people you want to send it to. The %name% will automatically be replaced with their full name. If you click the options tab, this is where you setup your smtp server details - This is important and MUST be filled out before doing a send. If you are unsure on your smtp details, contact your internet service provider.   Remember, In order to mail correctly, a group must be selected for each client.  All boxes must be filled in as well.
